Years in Review

     The year of 2021 was full of incredible projects. I kicked it off working on the 52nd Annual NAACP Image Awards. My team and I produced shoots with Alicia Keys, Stacey Abrams, Common, Michelle Obama, Andra Day, and many other influential figures in the Black community. We honored outstanding performances in film, television, theatre, music, and literature. 

     In June, we celebrated exceptional Black fathers in the community by changing the narrative of Black fatherhood with a conversation hosted by Oprah and Sterling K. Brown. We also produced a roundtable conversation with John Legend, Deon Cole, D.L. Hughley, and Tony Gonzales were they dove into parenting and fatherhood. 

     July kicked off with Friday Night Vibes a brand new late night talk show hosted by Tiffany Haddish and Deon Cole. Our team successfully shot, produced, and edited 25 episodes in a span of 6 months. We had over 60 guests including a variety of comedians, actors, and musicians.

      In August, we started production on a feature horror movie for Tubi TV. Celebrity Exorcism brought together Jodie Sweetin, Shar Jackson, and Meta World Peace for a week to explore the paranormal. It was a thrilling week of haunted locations and contact with the unknown all guided by an exorcist. The show aired on Halloween and was well received by our cast and viewers.

     The month of November was spent delivering the final episodes of Friday Night Vibes as well as working with NetApp to produce and film content for their online television launch. My team and I traveled to Las Vegas to film scene work, interviews, and content at the AWS Annual Expo. 

     I ended the year working on an epic project with Metallica. My team and I, produced and edited eleven different film packages that were played before and during Metallica's big 40th anniversary concert. The band played on two different nights and different packages were shown every night. The films were well received by the crowd and the band.
